Pastors Femi & Funmi Aluko

The LCC was founded on 2nd February 2002 in Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos by Pastors Femi and Funmi Aluko in response to a clear call from God to start a fresh work for the Lord. Prior to this time, Pastor Femi had served as Chapter President and Field Representative in local chapters of the Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship International (FGBMFI). They had also pastored in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) for over six years in the city of Kano in northern Nigeria. In spite of the many crises and persecutions the Church has passed through over the years, the Church continues to stand strong on the cutting edge of the uncompromised gospel it was founded upon. Pastors Femi and ‘Funmi Aluko are ably supported by pastors and ministers who have remained faithful to the core values of the ministry over the years.

Our Vision and Mission

Our vision is to preach the uncompromised word of God through every available means. Proclaiming the truth of God’s word and his unconditional love; to do our part under God to help build a Christ-governed and purpose-driven church where believers can truly worship and serve God in spirit and in truth, and love the Lord with all their hearts and fulfill their God-given destinies.

Our Mission Statement

  •  We are called to lead people, primarily born-again believers, to a place where they operate proficiently in the biblical principles of salvation, privileges, and responsibilities of redemption, righteousness, holiness, faith, love, healing, and prosperity, and to the place where they can share those principles with others.

  • We are called to assist believers in becoming rooted, grounded, and established in the word of God by teaching them to give God’s word first place in their lives (Colossians 1:23, Psalm 112).

  • We are called to preach the message of Restoration, Reconciliation, and Healing to the hurting and downcast.

  • We are called to reveal the mysteries of the victorious revelation of God’s word, which have been hidden from the ages (Colossians 1:25-28).

  • We are called to build an army of mature believers, bring them from milk to meat, from religion to reality.

  • We are called to train them to become skillful, in the word of righteousness, to stand firm in the spiritual warfare against the kingdom of darkness (Hebrews 5:12-24, Ephesians 6:10-18)

  • We are called to help nurture and mature the saints for the work of ministry and release them into their gifts and callings to enable the edification of the body of Christ.

  • We are called to help build and establish Godly homes, by organizing specialized training and teachings for youth and singles, married couples, and help restore and refocus threatened and broken homes.

  • We are called to organize special and family camps and outreach meetings to meet the diverse spiritual and recreational needs of families.

  • We are called to organize regular outreach programs to reach out to the poor and underprivileged of society by feeding their total man -spirit, soul, and body with food and the word of God.

  • We are called to missions and to support core grassroots missionary groups who have been called to reach the unreached.
